Japanese calligraphy and ink work are, to me, some of the most refined and powerful visual traditions in art. I’ve been drawn to Japanese culture and aesthetics since long before I began tattooing professionally almost two decades ago.
 
This collection brings together the exact type of brushes I use when designing high-quality Japanese-inspired tattoos, digital artwork, and media. Every brush in this set was developed fresh in 2026 and has not been used in previous designs or released elsewhere.
 
There are 47 completely unique, fully optimised Procreate brushes — all built from the ground up using custom source images. The focus is on calligraphic line weight variation, authentic wet and dry ink behaviour, natural texture and grain, and subtle dusting effects. The brushes are designed to function as a coherent system, not a random assortment.
